Jourdan Dunn.

Since she become one of the first models of color to walk for Prada in almost ten years I've been keeping an eye on Ms. Dunn. And as we all know she absolutely KILLED IT in the black issue of Italian Vogue.

Here are some snaps of her during Capetown fashion week.

vintage vantage.

I've always loved vintage. So I jumped for joy when I spotted this amazing tadashi jumpsuit on one of my favorite sites the urban collection.

however it turned out I was beat out for by none other than susie bubble

I couldn't have lost to a more formidable opponent!

tar-jayyyyyy.

big news kids. target is coming to Manhattan. Starting in September, Target will open four "bullseye bodega" pop-up shops in Manhattan next month in midtown, Union Square, Soho, and the East Village on September 11. The temporary shops will feature Jonathan Saunders's apparel collection, Anya Hindmarch's handbags, and Sigerson Morrison's shoe collection. As an East Village i'm a bit excited and a bit scared. I could sit here and go blah blah blah, the city is going to consumerism hell in a handbag, but I'm absolutely elated I won't have to take a train ride for my cheap fashion fix. Though honestly I'm not crazy about the Richard Chai Collection, it looks a bit too "Missy" to me, I'm curious to see what this new roster of designers brings to the table.
